Basement Finishing Before & After Photos

A functional and charming basement project completed by our team in Windham, NH. Features a dedicated full bathroom, workout area and sitting room and is the perfect space for the whole family to enjoy! 

This outdated Arlington, MA basement was in dire need of a face lift! The wood paneling soaked up moisture in an instant, leaving the space dank, dark and very damp. Our team remedied this by installing EverLast Basement Wall Panels. The benefits of these panels is that unlike drywall EverLast Wall Panels are highly dent resistant, cannot be damaged by moisture and will not support mold or mildew growth. The basement is now beautiful and dry, and it will stay this way for years to come!

We finished a space for this family to entertain and have additional room in their home. We used our EverLast vinyl wall system, ElitePlank flooring, and linen ceiling in this project.

Challenge: The couple live in a house in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and are expecting their first child to arrive this January. The expansion of their family is not the reason they want their basement finished. Instead, they would like to use the home as a rental income property. A finished basement can greatly increase the value of a home, and the capital earned from the property could be an additional source of income for their family. 

Solution: To finish their basement, they wanted one large, finished space where the washer and dryer could be placed. We used our paintable wall system, a linen ceiling and two EverLast basement windows. We finished their stairs with an oak railing and carpeted steps, and finished the space with our Walnut colored Elite Plank Flooring.
