Our vinyl wall panels are maintenance-free, moisture and mold-resistant, and stronger than drywall!
Total Basement Finishing worked with building scientists and manufacturers to develop a wall system suited for basements. EverLast™ basement wall panels are engineered never to get moldy or rot. They cannot be damaged by moisture and won't support mold or mildew growth. Total Basement Finishing, A Blackdog Affiliate offers two basement wall system options: EverLast™ vinyl wall panels and paintable wall panels.
EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels are NOT like drywall. Drywall with fiberglass insulation supports mold growth, will damage from moisture, and will lose insulation value when wet. They are made from 2 1/2 inches of rigid foam insulation with 1/2 inch of cement board cladding. The cement board is finished with an off-white vinyl surface treatment.
The innovative SilverGlo™ insulation integrated into each panel is designed with graphite-infused expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS), which makes it 24% more efficient per inch than standard EPS insulation.
Each panel has embedded metal studs along the board. These studs are separated from your foundation walls with 2" of insulation. These sturdy panels can support heavy items mounted directly into the wallboard, with no need to cut away the insulation and expose the wall beyond; this includes cabinets, pictures, and even a television!
These innovative wall panels have won the CQIA Quality and Innovation Award from a chapter of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence.
R-Value: R-15 with no thermal bridging
Wall Panel Thickness: 2 1/2" thick rigid foam and 1/2" thick cement board cladding
Material: High-density closed-cell foam insulation with a cementitious panel on the face and a durable vinyl finish
Strength: 197% Stronger than studded walls finished with drywall panels
Attractive, Versatile Color: Research has found off-white and beige to be the most popular wall colors on the market. EverLast™ basement wall panels combine those two colors into an attractive, subtle design that is timeless and complimentary to any furniture and décor.
EverLast vinyl walls are rugged and durable. They don’t dent or scratch easily and don’t require spackle and repainting. Our paintable system is made of the same inorganic materials as the vinyl system. The system does not require seam covers, so the wall is smooth and doesn’t look like other modular basement systems. This is an excellent choice for customers who like the look of painted drywall without the high risk of flood damage. This system comes with a 20-year transferable warranty.
