Dual Offices and Living Room - Something for Everybody!
Challenge
This homeowner wanted to completely change the layout of their pre-existing basement. Due to Covid-19, the homeowners wanted to add two new home offices in their basement, from which they could work from home. They also wanted to add in a full bathroom for convenience and comfort purposes, and a family and entertainment space for when they have family visiting. Making sure there was no moisture getting in with the newly designed basement was also a focal point. As they would be spending a considerate amount of time down there, having dampness would be very bad and having the offices especially be dry spaces was very important.
Solution
The solution provided by TBF was a complete redesign of the basement layout, to fulfill all the wishes of the homeowners. To meet the needs of many similar homeowners in these times of Covid-19, two home offices were installed with access to a full bathroom to ensure that they could accomplish a full day's work in the comfort of their own home. Also, the kids and grandkids now have a great space to use when they come and visit, and everybody can enjoy the newly finished space without worry of dampness creeping in.
