Basement Finishing By-The-Sea
Challenge
A couple in Manchester-By-The-Sea, Massachusetts, decided to have their home basement finished in 2022 but had other projects happening in their home that prevented them from getting started. At the end of 2023, they reached out to us to have their basement divided into three rooms. One large room, a smaller room, and an unfinished section for their utilities.
Solution
We finished both rooms in the basement with our paintable wall system. We added a large composite shelf on a half wall to be used for storage and painted the ceiling. We replaced three older windows with EverLast basement windows and added six-panel doors with nickel doorknobs. When finishing the stairs, we added carpeting and added our ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring below, as well as in the rest of the basement. This created a beautiful space for entertaining, relaxation, and even exercise.
