A New House Needs A Finished Basement
Challenge
A couple in Winchester, Massachusetts, owns a beautiful home that was built only three years ago. They have two young children and are a nice couple. They have a large basement, but it wasn’t finished when the house was built. This leaves them with only one bathroom upstairs and a lack of storage and family room. Although the basement has a lot of space, it needs much work to be usable.
Solution
Solution: We finished this 1300 square foot basement as an ample space with an attached half bathroom. We painted the existing doors, finished the walls with our vinyl panel system, and installed a linen tile ceiling. This created a cleanly finished basement they could use for entertainment, a playroom, and to have a much-needed second bathroom in the house.
