"A Finished Basement," Now In Theaters
Challenge
Challenge: A down to earth couple from North Reading, Massachusetts, live in a home with their two teenagers. They have a very large, mostly unfinished basement, and want to use the space to create an exercise room, family room, theater room, and additional closets. Originally, they chose another person to do the project, but had to end that relationship after only a few days. This left them with purchased flooring and ceiling tiles, but a barely started job.
Solution
Solution: The couple found us online, and because of our expertise, they chose us to complete the job. Although the ceiling tiles were usable, the flooring they purchased previously was not. For that reason, we returned the unused flooring and installed our own Grey ThermalDry Tile. They had a large hole in one wall, which we filled, then we installed blocking for a projector and screen in their media room. With a basement that was finally finished expertly and completely, the couple was thrilled. They were most excited to begin utilizing their home gym, which they planned to use daily.
