Make It Equipt for Gym Equipment
Challenge
A young couple live in a house in Andover, where they work from home with their two adorable cats. Their basement has already been finished with another company, but they left the cut ends of the flooring exposed, which needs to be fixed. Although the husband works from the basement, they want to add a space to be used as a bedroom, and want flooring put into their current basement gym.
Solution
We began by adding quarter round to the baseboards to cover the cut ends of the flooring laid by another company. After that was finished, we replaced their windows with Egress sliding windows to allow for more light. We also added baseboard electric heat, flooring, and removed a section of wall to expand the space. They now have a beautifully finished space where they can put a bedroom in the future.
