From Flooded to Finished
Challenge
A couple has a basement that was previously finished in Andover, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, they’ve had issues with flooding that have destroyed some of the work they already had done. They’ve torn out some of the old work, but they want a waterproofed and refinished basement where they can set up workout and office space.
Solution
We referred them to Erickson waterproofing to fix two spots in the foundation that had caused problems in the past. When they were finished, we made a bigger space with an office, a gym area and a space for the washer and dryer. We replaced all six basement windows to add more light, and added a small door on the utility side of the stairs to be used for storage. The couple was excited to have the space refinished, and are looking forward to using the new office space.
