A Mildew Nightmare turned Quality Finished Basement
Challenge
The homeowners are a young couple who both work from home. They love their house, but a flood caused damage and led to mold growth. Even from the first floor, the mildew and mold has an effect, and Jeanne’s bad allergies are affected. Spending so much time each day in their home is starting to have negative effects on their health.
Solution
To make sure the allergens affecting Jeanne’s health were removed, we completed whole house air purification, installed dehumidification, and updated their HVAC system. We repaired the floor damage, and doubled their space by adding in a wall to create an office space. The couple stated that the best part about working with us was the quality. If there is ever another leak, they won’t have to rip everything out and have it redone.
