"S" is for Stairs and Storage
Challenge
Stephanie and her husband have been living in their home since 2013. With children in the house, they reached a point where they just needed more space. They wanted another bathroom, and a more elegant entrance to what they wanted to become a finished basement. It was at the beginning of 2023 that Stephanie found us on Facebook.
Solution
We added a half bath and a sewage ejector, finishing the basement space, and adding two 15 lite exterior doors. One of our affiliate companies, FloorMe!, installed the flooring. To finish the space, we used vinyl walls, linen tiles on the ceiling, and painted the doors and risers. Finally, we added in flooring beneath the stairs to ensure the family wouldn’t need to store anything previously kept in the basement on the floors above.
