New Playroom For The Kids!
Challenge
This was a simple project for TBF, but just because it is simple doesn’t mean that it wasn’t desperately needed for the homeowners. Our clients here were running out of space with their growing family, so they either had to undergo an expensive and long home addition, or take advantage of their existing space to satisfy their needs. This project would have TBF refinish a single room, the first one you walk into from the garage. Ideally, this would be a great space for their kids to both watch TV and play with each other and their friends.
Solution
The homeowners were very happy when they saw how the project turned out, and were even happier that they could have a little more privacy now that the kids had their own space to do their thing. Not only does it make their house seem bigger and quieter, but we were also able to make this project very cost-effective since it was just a single room. It is also much drier than the last space, which is much better because kids will be spending extended periods of time there. To finish the kid’s space, we used TBF Paintable wall panels, a linen drop ceiling, and Pecan Elite plank flooring.
