Basement Family Room and Laundry Room
Challenge
This was a fairly straightforward project: the homeowners wanted to finish their unfinished basement to use it as a family room, with an adjacent laundry room. Besides finishing the space, they wanted to move some of the plumbing and venting into the wall system and out of sight. This would make for more of a homey feeling family room. There is also an AC vent that was dropped into the basement, because it tends to get too warm down there in the summer.
Solution
TBF had no difficulty completing this project for the homeowners, who were very pleasant as well as grateful for the job. What we created for them was a very nice space in which the family could do things from game nights to watching movies together. They could also get their laundry done in a nice space which makes the chore a little less tedious. Using our TBF Vinyl wall system, a linen drop ceiling, and Elite plank flooring, the new space is going to be used all the time by this family!
