Say Goodbye to Water Damage!
Challenge
These homeowners in Bedford, NH live in a cape-style home, and contacted TBF to finish the half of their basement that was yet unfinished. Our help was desperately needed as they had just had a flood, and there was a lot of water damage. Since the other half was susceptible to water coming in, they stressed the need for waterproof materials. Seeing as their goal was to have an additional space in their home they could relax and spend a decent amount of time in, making sure mold and mildew along with dampness couldn’t get in was crucial. Breathing in those spores is very unhealthy and we had to make sure they would be safe down there, especially during flood season.
Solution
The solution we provided these homeowners was a clean and dry space that they could spend time in without risk of poor air quality or flood/water damage. Using Everlast vinyl wall panels and Elite plank flooring, we ensured water wouldn’t be getting in anytime soon. To brighten up the space to make it look pleasant we included carpeting on the stairs and a nice linen drop ceiling. A great transformation for these homeowners that offers much peace of mind!
