Bringing the Family Closer Together!
Challenge
This single mother in Tewksbury has been working at home due to the pandemic. She is looking to have a few things done, and the primary thing is adding a safe and comfortable space for her son that is near her office that he can play in. Next, her laundry room needs to be renovated. It is cold, damp, and unsightly. Additionally, she is having problems with a doorway leading to a staircase.
Solution
TBF was happy to help out this homeowner, who had a lot on her plate and some newly finished spaces would help to make the home a happier place. We finished a family room for her son, who can now play in a safe area that is going to be very close to his mom’s office if he ever needs anything. The door at the bottom of the stairs was removed entirely, to male way for a pleasant looking cased opening that both improved flow and functionality for the entrance. As for the laundry room, our TBF wall panels were installed, as well as Elite plank flooring and a SaniDry XP. These materials will help keep the cold and damp out of the basement, and make it a much more stylish part of the home and less of an eye sore. A small piece of heating was also installed to make sure the pipes by the washer and dryer do not freeze in the winter.
