Blending Spaces in Sudbury
Challenge
A couple has a beautiful home in Sudbury, Massachusetts. They have a finished basement in a portion of their basement, with a beautiful home theatre. Unfortunately, the way the basement is laid out, they need to walk through the unfinished portion to reach it. After dealing with this inconvenience for a while, they are more than ready to have the rest of the space finished. They found us through a search and, after discussing their goals and our basement finishing products, decided to use us to finish the remainder of their space.
Solution
We are remodeling exactly 346 square feet of the basement to make the entire basement a cohesive, beautiful space. They chose our paintable wall system, vinyl flooring, and our drop ceiling. This project will also include replacing one window with an Egress window and adding 300 square feet of heat to the space. A finer detail of this project includes an open nook under the stairs, where we’ll add flooring and paintable walls. We will also be adding an oak railing to the stairs and a composite curb to make it feel a bit more open. This will create a functional, beautiful space that blends seamlessly with their existing entertainment and media room.
