An Elegant Finished Space in Dunstable, MA
Challenge
A man in Dunstable, Massachusetts, is looking to make more room for his son to play. Right now, he has a partially finished basement. Although insulated, the flooring is cement, the walls aren’t finished, and the space is cluttered with storage items. The homeowner would like to make one large room with one door and refinish the railing to make it safe for his son.
Solution
We began the project by adding our vinyl panel wall system, linen ceiling tiles, and our ThermalDry flooring in grey. This created a clean look in the basement. We then added a new mahogany railing with white trim. We replaced his three existing windows with new inserts and replaced the stairs with gray oak stair treads and PVC risers. The resulting room was a large, elegant, L-shared room.
