A Ceiling Rip Out and Refinish
Challenge
Jennifer and her partner are looking to expand their family, but they have no space to expand. They are both hard workers, who have two children and one on the way. They’ve discussed moving instead of renovation, but with an unfinished basement, they know in this market it’s a better financial option than selling. However, the basement has a few quirks. The ceiling was partially finished in the past, but needs to be completely ripped out to be redone properly.
Solution
We finished their basement by first tearing out the ceiling they currently had. We then installed a half bath as well as new ceilings, walls and flooring. They needed a SaniDry XP, which went under the staircase as they wanted it out of the main area. The couple and their children were excited to finally be able to use this space.
