Complete Demo Makes Way For Great New Basement!
Challenge
For this basement project, the homeowners wanted TBF to create a half bathroom, a home office space, and a tv area within their new basement. Their problem with the current space was a common one, and responsible for a lot of the calls we get. It was dark, and had substantial water and moisture damage. Not fit for a family. When we surveyed the existing space, we determined that it would have to be demolished, to make way for a fresh start. That way we could completely refinish the space and make sure that the moisture would never return.
Solution
When a space is as bad as this was before, the final product is all the more satisfying for us to finish, and even more so for the homeowners who finally get to enjoy a big part of their house. This project was especially inclusive - meaning the clients were involved in the management of the project throughout. This ensures maximum satisfaction and completely eliminates any surprises. Not all homeowners have time for this but it might be worth it for some who want to be more involved. This meant they were extra happy with the office, tv area, and bathroom we finished for them and the end result was exactly what they were looking for. In terms of materials we used for the space, TBF used out Paintable wall panels, a white linen drop ceiling, and Dark Walnut Elite plank flooring.
