Home Office and Gym Bring Peace of Mind!
Challenge
This young couple in Dracut have their hands full, and are looking to add some more finished space to their home, without building an addition. Luckily for them, they called TBF, in order to finish their neglected basement space. Before, it was completely unfinished, and seldom used. These homeowners are expecting their first child soon, and are also caregivers to an adult with special needs. They are looking to add a home office for the father, who is a college professor and is going to be working from home for the short term, and maybe the long term. Adjacent to the office they would like to add a home gym to have all their needs under one roof, since there are several reasons to need to be close at hand.
Solution
We were able to meet and exceed all of the homeowners expectations with this project. We crafted a comfortable home office for the father, and next to it we made a great space for the home gym and all of their equipment. Under the staircase we put in a little nook that can be used for storage or utility space. To finish the space, our vinyl wall system was put in place, along with a very stylish Rockler paneled drop ceiling and gray Elite plank floorboards. A SaniDry XP was also installed to control the humidity level. Now the homeowners can work and exercise while being on hand for their important duties at home! The peace of mind that TBF can provide for you is priceless!
